It is undeniable that us women are the nurturers and the caregivers of our world.  Even so, we very often give so much of ourselves to others but seldom take the time to nurture and love ourselves.  I was inspired to put together this Self Love Elixir that combines ritual, intention, clearing and transformation. I drew upon my love for crystals, essential oils and my practice of shamanism.

Materials:

rose quartz

distilled water

clear glass bowl

rose petals

New Moon Energy

Florida water

geranium essential oil

lavender essential oil

ylang ylang essential oil

Directions:

Begin with setting an intention that you will love yourself and honor who you are.

Place rose quartz in clear glass bowl. Add distilled water to cover crystal and 3 rose petals

Place bowl of water and rose quartz near a window where it will be bathed by new moon energy for 3 days (2 days + actual New Moon day). On 3rd day remove crystal from bowl and add 3 drops each of geranium, lavender and ylang ylang essential oils and 3 splashes of florida water. After regular shower pour infused water over body affirming self love. Repeat to yourself 3 times “I love myself unconditionally and accept myself as I am.” Breathe this in.  Towel dry and feel whole!!

Essential oils support the body physically, emotionally and spiritually.  Ylang, ylang supports the heart, balances mind and body. Geranium creates sense of security and comfort. It helps to encourage self expression. Lavender encourages positive emotional states like confidence and happiness. Rose quartz is a stone for the heart, a crystal of unconditional love. It carries a feminine energy of compassion, peace and healing. Rose soothes the mind and emotions. Its vibration is unmistakably that of love.  All these together with energy of New Moon (new beginnings) will help to restore, renew and enhance unconditional self love.

In Wholeness,

Denise
