Change is Inevitable

This will be my 2nd move in 1 year.  I’m not particularly ecstatic about this new place but I will make it home.  We don’t have too much control of these things when it comes to apartment living, yet I will not be tethered by this. Change is abound in my life right now. There is a stirring that’s been happening for a while now.  It’s telling me to move, to break free, to let go and to leave behind the extras.

I kind of liken this ebb and flow to my exercise program.  I go to the gym twice a week.  I don’t know what awaits me except that it will be written on the wall. There is the uncertainty of the steps and the surety that it will be hard.  Am I backing down?  Absolutely not!!  Things have been set in motion that there is no going back to and for me, this change is no different.  As I look around my apartment now, I keep hearing, “the walls have no name.”  I guess that would mean no attachment then.

I have a practice of pulling a tarot card each day.  It’s the Rider Waite deck. Pulling a card every day is one of the many ways that I connect to my Higher Self and to my highest truth. Today, the card was Death.  At first glance it made me cringe only to immediately release and realize that this is the threshold that I need to cross.  The Death card is about closing one door to open another.  I’ve completed a chapter and moving into the unknown.
